ABOUT ABOUT

February's meeting will bring you another installment of Bradley's detailed presentation of Mountain Lion, what's hot, what's not. Under the premise that you have a fairly modern Mac that can in fact install OS X 10.8.2 but have been holding off at Mac OS X 10.6.8 based on my suggestions that for most people, upgrading to Lion was not worth the trouble, the current situtation with Apple's updates and some new 3rd-party applications that require at least the discontinued Lion.

Now that we've covered Mountain Lion's System Preferences, and touched on new Finder features, we will continue covering new features in the various included applications. Also how some interact with your iPhone or iPad via your Apple ID and iCloud.

As usual the meeting will begin with the two Q&A sessions (Brad’s in the main room and the MacBasics across the hall). Next will be the announcements followed by the main presentation by Bradley. Our ever-popular raffle will end the general meeting. Then our SIGs will meet until the close of the evening at 10 PM.
